I am a gestalt psychotherapist offering counselling and psychotherapy to individuals and couples. I also facilitate groups and provide clinical supervision.

As a woman of African Caribbean origin I believe I also bring a dimension to my work which includes experiences of oppression and hope. I remain committed to working toward anti-discrimination in all its forms, be they related to skin colour, cultural and identity differences, gender issues, sexuality (dis)ability religious beliefs etc.

Qualifications

I have an MA in Gestalt Psychotherapy and registered with UKCP. I have a Diploma in Supervision. I am also a qualified social worker and hold a Certificate of Qualification in Social Work (CQSW) and Diploma in Advanced Social Work (DipASW).

Therapeutically I am interested in attachment/separation issues, addiction difficulties, depression, identity, sexuality, and mental health.

I am trained in EMDR -(Eye Movement Desensitation and Reprocessing) and use bilateral stimulation techniques as a tool to process trauma.

Include, UKCP, Black & Asian Therapy Network (BAATN), Gestalt Centre and EDMR Assocation (UK).

I abide by the code of ethics laid down by the Gestalt Centre, UKCP and GDP Regulations.
